Antalis South Africa (Pty) Limited has appointed Simona Marchese as Director of Human Resources.
This follows recognition of the strategic importance of the HR function within the organisation said Managing Director, Raymond Waldeck. ‘We have always known that our people are one of our key strengths. Fulfilling this position is a reflection of this and of the continued emphasis on people in our organisation going forward.’
He said that this is even more so in light of the changes that the industry is going through. ‘We are in a watershed period and how we approach the next few years will determine how we are positioned in the future. We know where we want to be and our investment into HR is part of this strategy.’
Marchese said she felt comfortable at Antalis from day one. ‘It was a good fit from the word go. I immediately felt an affiliation for the team and environment they have created.’
