Practical Publishing is gearing up for the biggest event of the year, the Africa Print Expo, which will take place at the Gallagher Convention Centre, from 2-4 July 2014 (co-located with FESPA Africa).

The Africa Print Regional Expo is sponsored by Xerox. This significant event will be a showcase for the entire digital print process, featuring from sheetfed A3 machines up to grand format digital equipment and will include both suppliers and manufacturers of commercial and digital printers, finishing equipment, software, media and consumables.

Africa Print platinum sponsor Xerox is launching a new production product that will be showcased for the first time in Africa and which will be announced at the expo. Konica Minolta South Africa will headline their bizhub presses: PRO and PRESS C1060L AND C1070, PRESS 1250 and PRO B951. Visitors can also view the graphic arts industry’s first five-colour LED printer, the ES9541 on the OKI SA stand.

Last year’s expo at the Sandton Convention Centre was a success as companies made quality leads and numerous sales. There was also an increase in international visitors who visited the event, including attendees from Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe to name a few.

Two Sides’ country manager at Printing SA, Deon Joubert, will be presenting the following conference topic: Paper, Print and the Environment, and will give an overview on the Two Sides initiative at 14h00 on the 3rd of July at the Africa Print Expo.
