AFRICA PRINT EXPO 2012 IS OUT OF THIS WORLD

The Africa Print Expo in Johannesburg, held from 22-24 August at the Sandton Convention Centre, was a success, with 5893 visitors coming to see the good cross-section of products and services on display and exhibitors making good leads on the day.

Highlights included:

  • Xerox launched its 770 Digital Colour Press and the Xerox D95/D110/D125 Copier/Printer and D110/D125 Printer.
  • Konica Minolta South Africa
    showcased its award-winning Best Production Line of the Year production solutions.
  • Ferrostaal showcased the Meteor DP8700 XL.
  • Kemtek Imaging Systems showcased products launched at drupa 2012.

Judges visited each stand at the expo and judged the stands according to criteria based on design and staff friendliness and professionalism. The stand winners and runners up include:

Best Medium Stand (19 – 54sqm) floor space:

2nd tie: CGS and National Screen & Digital Supplies

Best Small Stand (1-18sqm) shell scheme:

2nd: Rexel Office Products
3rd: The Paper Plot

Best Small Stand (1-18sqm) floor space:

3rd: Perigrine Trading
