Africa Print Cape Town Expo Brings Latest Printing Technology To Western Cape

The successful Africa Print Cape Town expo attracted 1150 visitors from surrounding areas. The event, which was held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on 15 and 16 March, showcased cutting-edge technology, such as: digital printing, 3D printing, finishing, label printing, wide format digital and more. The Africa Print expos are sponsored by Konica Minolta South Africa.

Exhibitors’ expectations were exceeded with the high turnout and enthusiasm from visitors.

Janine Rainers, Cape Town branch manager at Intamarket, said, ‘There were high quality visitors; we made good contacts and we had a few orders.’

‘The show was excellent, we made very good leads,’ said Gys Swart, regional manager at Fellowes Beswick.

Nicholas Catto, Sales and Marketing Manager at Graficomp said, ‘There was lots of interest in the entry level HP Latex 110, which has an attractive price point. We had a few sales off the stand.’

Roza Vally, Operations Manager at Production X said, ‘Production X made good contacts with suppliers. Lots of people were interested in our special offer on PVC and business cards.’

Director of Midcomp consumables Rakesh Rosen said, ‘We met good, quality visitors. It’s not just about the sales but about educating visitors.’

Aziza Mahomed, Epson business development manager at Kemtek Imaging Systems said, ’It’s important to be here, we had a lot of interest and a few sales.’

Petrie van Niekerk, Technical Sales, Paul Moeller & Co, spoke to new and existing customers who saw products of interest on display, and he made good contacts at the show.

Theo Denton of Denton Office Supplies said the company had positive leads and sales from the stand.

Judges visited each stand at the expo and judged the stands according to criteria based on design, staff friendliness and professionalism. The stand winners and runners up included:
