The successful Africa Print Bloemfontein expo, which took place on 15 February at Ilanga Estate, attracted visitors from Bloemfontein, Kimberley, Hartswater, Senekal, Colesberg, Malmesbury, Welkom, Brandfort, QwaQwa, Lesotho, Kroonstad, Meyerton, Cape Town, Durban and De Aar.
Visitors were inspired by the latest technologies and trends in commercial print solutions, encapsulating and laminating, digital label printing, branding, binding equipment, digital packaging solutions, graphics, digital printing and other cutting edge technology.
Exhibitor feedback was positive:
‘It was a busy morning and we were very impressed. It was the first time I had been at this show and it exceeded my expectations,’ said Kitty Mhlongo, Kemtek.
‘It was a decent expo and we got some great leads. (Visitors) like that we can deliver from Johannesburg overnight,’ said Gourav Baid, Allrich.
‘We were very happy with this expo and made some great contacts for our company to grow. It was a success,’ said Jaco Labuschagne, Intamarket.
‘We were very surprised and very impressed. We got great quality leads and great feet through the door,’ said Rakesh Rosen, Midcomp.
Judges visited each stand at the expo and judged the stands according to criteria based on design, staff friendliness and professionalism. The results are as follows:
