Markzware, Inc. Releases Stand-Alone PDF Conversion Application

PDFMarkz SE is the ideal tool for repurposing PDF content for graphic designers, publishers and printers. The stand-alone PDF conversion application is now available for users of Windows 10 and 11.

This is the third release in the ‘Markz-Line’ of file conversion applications for the Windows platform. PDFMarkz for macOS has long been available, and a Windows version has been often requested by Windows users. PDFMarkz SE converts PDF files that can be edited directly in Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress and Affinity Publisher.

Frequently, users have PDFs while the original, native job or artwork is no longer available. Markzware’s PDF converter gives users the ability to recycle PDF layouts. This allows new edits or design changes to be made, directly within the familiar interface of Adobe InDesign and other desktop publishing applications.

PDFMarkz SE will even convert PDF Annotations (additions of ‘PDF Comments’) to the IDML (InDesign Markup Language) file, so users can view them in InDesign 2023. Markzware technology exports PDF documents as IDML files, which can be opened in Adobe InDesign CS4 and newer versions. The IDML exported by PDFMarkz SE can be imported into any desktop publishing (DTP) application that supports InDesign Markup Language. In addition to Adobe InDesign, applications with IDML support include Affinity Publisher and QuarkXPress. System requirements are Windows 10 or 11, and 4GB of RAM.
