ATS has expanded its portfolio of OEM parts, and in specific cases also aftermarket spares, for the following brands that serve the printing industry: Baldwin, Baumann/Perfecta, Becker, DUPLO, Gallus, Gardner Denver, Grafix, Herzog & Heimann, hhs Baumer, Hohner, Horizon, KBA (currently web only), Kompac Dampening Systems, Leibinger, Mosca packaging machines, palamides Delivery Systems, Polar, Schneider Senator, Sigloch, technotrans and Theisen & Bonitz.
These new offerings are an addition to the company’s existing OEM parts and aftermarket spares for brands such as: Heidelberg, Müller Martini, Komori, Manroland, Wohlenberg, Kolbus and MBO. Additionally, ATS stock parts for Heidelberg pre-press, press, post press and packaging applications, as well as Manroland Sheetfed and partly Goss Web System applications. ATS also offer services such as project funding and equipment finance.
ATS also announced the availability of FREEcure light curing solutions. The curing of varnishes and inks with UV light is a fast, proven and energy-efficient method for cross-linking reactive ink and varnish systems. UV curing is used in many different areas, such as in wood processing, surface coating or the printing industry.
The new FREEcure UV system, developed by IST METZ together with BASF SE, represents a new kind of cross-linking technology. The shared patent resulting from the collaboration follows the approach of increasing the UVC percentage in the spectrum of a UV lamp. FREEcure is a revolutionary technology that achieves results without photo initiators, inertisation or electron beams.
