Practical Publishing, the Africa Print Expo organiser, has handed over R5000 to the Dullstroom Bird of Prey Centre as part of its Step up for charity challenge, in which the company, together with Oasys Exhibitions, Lodge Security, In House Exhibitions, Be Bold Consulting, Maizey Plastics and Roland, pledged one cent for every step taken at the Expo (22-24 August).

Each participant wore a pedometer to measure their steps. Over one and a half million steps were taken during the expo and a total of R15 201 was raised.

The Dullstroom Bird of Prey Centre was established with the aim of educating the public to promote awareness of the raptor species and their plight as a growing endangered species.
