The Artron Art Group Co., Ltd. and Komori have reached a basic agreement on the installation of the 101.6cm (40 inch) Impremia NS40 Sheetfed Nanographic Printing® System, the first of its kind in China. This agreement is based on Artron’s judgement that the application of the high-speed, B1 size digital printing system is vitally important to its new strategic business development.
Artron’s art-related printed materials are highly esteemed by the world’s most renowned designers. Since 1996, Artron and Komori have been building a strategic cooperative relationship in the field of printing.
The pressure of competition in the packaging industry has only intensified in recent years, so the application of offset printing in packaging must develop in the direction of larger formats. Only in this way can efficiency be improved and costs reduced. Supported by Komori’s previously amassed technologies, and with unique designs such as use of image transfer blankets, the press achieves B1 print speeds of 6500 sph.
