Ricoh Europe is number one in production colour press cut sheet printer placements in Western Europe, according to the latest results released by market data specialist InfoSource. The firms Western European survey for the first quarter of 2012 recorded Ricoh’s share of the production devices and colour press cut sheet industry, by manufacturer, at 42,5%, a significant increase over the previous year’s 27,7% market share.
Ricohs top performing products in the category include the Ricoh Pro C901 Graphic Arts Edition digital production press, the Pro C751 and Pro C651.
While Ricoh continually invests in new technologies and boosts productivity, it also expends a great deal of effort in long term support and guidance through programmes such as its Ricoh Business Driver Programme.
The companys approach to partnerships, services, and business values were cited by customers as some of the reasons why they placed orders for new equipment at drupa 2012.
In addition to this latest industry recognition, Ricoh’s Pro C901 Graphic Arts Edition production press was recently named as the fastest in its class by InfoTrends’ Western Europe Production Printing and Copying Market Placements: 2008-2011. The same report also named it the leading press in the 301K to 999K duty cycle with more than a 31% market share in Western Europe in 2011.
