Sun Chemical has announced that it will showcase its portfolio of inks for monobloc, tube and aerosol cans. The company will present its SunAltec and SunTrio product families, demonstrating its capabilities in metal decoration through its specialised ink solutions, including special effects, brand protection, brand colour management and print standardisation.
These soltuions will be showcased during the Aerosol and Dispensing Forum (ADF) 2019, which takes place from 30-31 January at the Porte de Versailles, Paris, France. During the exhibition, Sun Chemical’s global metal deco ink sales director, Eduardo Alegria, will also be giving a presentation during the exhibition’s conference, titled, ‘The future of UV printing.’
Sun Chemical’s SunAltec series of inks for metal decoration on aluminium collapsible tubes and monobloc aerosol cans offer outstanding performance, superior quality, high productivity and strong chemical resistance properties.
The MB Plus Series, part of the SunAltec product family, will also be on display. The versatile series has been designed for application on monobloc aerosols and uses an ink system, which has been adapted for optimum performance on new generation production lines using basecoat technology.
The SunTrio range for three-piece cans for sheetfed printing features good adhesion between layers and to the substrate. SunTrio, both in UV and conventional, is suitable for most types of metal packaging including aerosol, food and general line cans, closures and aerosols.
Spot colours are easy to handle for both product families. Any shade can be produced directly onsite with the help of SunMatch, Sun Chemical’s web based colour matching tool. This gives printers the highest possible flexibility and allows a very quick reaction to any specific customer colour requests.
