Brandtjen & Kluge will demonstrate finishing equipment solutions, showcasing new advancements in die-cutting, foil stamping, digital foil transfer, and folding and gluing.
Demonstrations will be held at PRINT 18 from 30 September-2 October. These include:
– ApexFoil: the key properties of foil stamping are simple to identify: time, temperature and tonnage. Until now, although simple to identify, those properties have been difficult to measure and control. Now, operators can use the ApexFoils Compass control system that includes patented features to control time, temperature and tonnage. Compass allows operators to greatly reduce, and in some cases, eliminate make-ready on every job.
-DIGITAL METAL: leveraging the benefits of the digital print workflow, the DIGITAL METAL process allows digital transfer of foil onto paper and cardboard substrates. At the heart of the process is the DM-Liner, a digital foiling device that precisely completes the foil transfer, optimises foil usage and manages inventory intelligently. The DIGITAL METAL process is highly effective in producing decorative effects for labels, brochures, invitations, magazines, packaging, photo cards, calendars and more.
– OmniFold 3000: the Kluge OmniFold 3000 Automatic Folding and Gluing System is a fully modular converting system designed to fulfill today’s need and grow with future demands of the commercial printer and packaging manufacturer. Built to maximise converting capabilities while minimising set-up time, the OmniFold includes features that bring productivity and reliability.
