South African company Screenline has entered into the international 2018 FESPA Awards, submitting its project for the Glass, Ceramic, Metal and Wood category.
The print community is encouraged to vote for Screenline for the Peoples Choice Award. Voting will close on 5 March 2018. You can vote for up to 10 entries across all the categories, with a maximum of one vote per entry.
Screenline was approached by Seating (Pty) Ltd to assist with printing panels and tables for their exhibit at 100% Design South Africa, a leading high-end curated showcase of the most inspirational designs and designers.
The Screenline team worked with Seating to combine the natural textures and feel of the wood with the modern lines and materials of their designs and furniture. This resulted in an exciting and colourful print on 18mm OSB board for the exhibit’s wall panels and coffee tables. The prints created a beautiful textured effect on the wood while still accentuating the detailed design and vibrant colours of the artwork designed by Seating.
The overall effect accentuated the client's individualised creativity and the particular vision for their business. Screenline is gratified to have been part of the process to showcase the client's personalised tastes in a professional manner within an extremely competitive market place.
The winner of the Peoples Choice Award, alongside the category winners, will be announced at the Gala Dinner on 16 May 2018 at the Classic Remise Berlin Hotel in Germany. Shortlisted entrants, influential printers, VIP guests and FESPA Association Members from across the world will be in attendance.
