Xerox will showcase a wide range of leading products at the Africa Print Expo, taking place from 7-9 September at Gallagher Convention Centre.
Xerox will exhibit the following products:
Xerox X1000i colour production press
With consistent and great image quality, the Xerox Colour X1000i press offers productivity, improved profitability and a range of high-quality applications to satisfy the most demanding, forward thinking customers. New speciality dry ink capabilities have expanded Xerox's clear dry ink range to include ‘metallic’ silver and gold dry ink. These new colours open the door to new digital profit potential from both static and personalised communications.
Xerox Versant 80 colour production press
The Xerox Versant 80 Press is the industry standard in high quality, high throughput digital printing and production, with a massive 80000 monthly cycle capacity at full speed with the heaviest media type (80 ppm/up to 350gsm). It features a number of industry firsts, including an integrated UltraHD print engine combining 2400 x 2400 dpi imaging resolution with up to 1200 x 1200 x 10-bit rendering resolution. It also improves print and scan automation from Xerox’s Simple Image Quality Adjustment (SIQA) tool, which takes the trial and error guesswork out of alignment. Automated Image Transfer Adjustment effortlessly adjusts image transfer to ensure optimal quality on a variety of stocks, while Density Uniformity Adjustment helps maintain colour consistency within a page.
Xerox IJP2000 wide format printer
The increased speed of the IJP 2000 means printers can accept and produce more wide format jobs – even last minute requests. For example, it can print an A0 page in full colour with a resolution of 1600 x 1600dpi in just seven seconds. It will give customers a huge competitive advantage. The printer, which is driven by Caldera's Grand RIP Plus, is suitable for a range of substrates such as textile, vinyl, backlit, banner fabric and stoplight films as well as standard and coated papers. It comprises five stationary print heads that use breakthrough technology, enabling printers to achieve results that have been previously unattainable in the market.
Xerox EFI H1625 inkjet wide format printer
For point-of-purchase, sign, banner and graphics printers, in-house shops, and commercial printers who require a printer capable of producing high quality images across the widest variety of substrates in widths up to 1.6m. The H1625 LED 8-level variable drop grayscale print heads provides for superior quality images and optimised ink usage.
The LED UV cured inks including white ink for access to the greatest range of substrates when compared to solvent and latex printing technologies, gives owners the lowest total cost of ownership, greatest gross margin opportunity, largest addressable market and highest consumer satisfaction.
The company will also showcase the following software: FreeFlow Core, FreeFlow Publisher, FreeFlow VI, XMPie and Solimar.
