Screenline South Africa was honoured with a FESPA 2015 Bronze Award for their entry ‘The Tutudesk’ in the Special Effects Printing category. The company encourages other African printers to submit entries into the 2016 programme.

‘FESPA is a hugely respected and international organisation that celebrates print excellence, so any company that believes it has a great project and wants to get this message across should of course enter the awards,’ said Screenline Managing Director, Neil de Greef. ‘It is also a good platform to interact, share and learn from the best printers in the world. There are always new ideas and innovations that are highlighted through the FESPA Awards that we might not get to see or hear of.’

The FESPA Awards Programme is renowned across the industry for their outstanding recipients, judged by industry experts who in turn have contributed significant advances to the techniques and technology across the industry.

‘Winning an award can give a company a feeling of a job well done, which is great, but it’s important not to get too carried away with winning one year. It’s about making sure the attitude in our company is wanting to win every year. The win means we can give ourselves a pat on the back, but more importantly, it gives us a springboard to drive further innovation rather than resting on our laurels,’ added de Greef.

Entrants into the Awards have until January 2016 to submit their work for consideration. Shortlisted entries will be put forward for the People’s Choice Award, voted for online by the public.

This programme is:
• Open to all screen, digital, specialists and ‘multi-technologies’ users for printing, sign and POP making, textile, decoration and industrial applications.
• Open to all members and non-members of any Association member of FESPA. South African printing companies can drop off their entries at the Printing SA (member of FESPA) and Practical Publishing offices by 29 January 2016 and they will courier your entry.
