Arjowiggins Creative Papers has launched the 2012 Conqueror Typographic Games, open to designers and printers, to mark Conqueror’s place as the frontrunner in business and creative communications. Prizes include a much-coveted VIP trip and ticket to the London Olympics in 2012 and five Xbox game consoles.
The contest for those in the printing industry runs from January 2012 until 30 April 2012. Printers can ‘Win the Medal’ with scratch cards they receive with any order for Conqueror or other Arjowiggins Creative Papers products. Every printer has two scratch card chances to grab the top prizes and a further opportunity to win the gold ticket in an online lottery at www.conqueror/com/typographicgames/.
The printers’ ‘Win the Medal’ contest is in the spirit of the London Cultural Olympiad, which distinguishes the 2012 Games by celebrating the Arts as well as sporting prowess. It runs in tandem with the ‘Typographic Games’ currently challenging creatives to produce typographic posters incorporating the phrase ‘It’s not what you win, but how you conquer it’.
Like their Olympic counterparts, printers know that uncompromising quality and speed are critical for success. Arjowiggins Creative Papers backs them with the latest improvements to the Conqueror brand. Conqueror’s patented Print Excellence technology brings faster drying times and impressive print effects and optimised print performance: vivid colours, bolder blacks and incredible colour accuracy. The revolutionary Bamboo range from Conqueror dovetails environmental breakthroughs with performance benefits, which sets a new benchmark for sustainable papers with the use of renewable bamboo, FSC certified wood pulp and natural pigments in exciting on-trend colours. The introduction of an SRA3 size available in the Wove and Laid ranges in all five white variants, demonstrates a clear commitment to raising the game of digital printing.
The two Arjowiggins Creative Papers’ ‘Typographic Games’ contests celebrate the fact that Conqueror sets the gold standard for business communications and is the champion of creatives and print buyers. With a determination to support winners in the field, the paper manufacturer urges all its colleagues in the print industry to be with the best, enter the contest and go for Gold!
