Practical Publishing Steps Up For Charity

1482

Each year the Practical Publishing team and our Expo suppliers step up for charity at the Africa Print Johannesburg expo. The participants wear pedometers and track the number of steps taken during the expo week. Over 1,5 million steps were taken from the 28 June-4 July 2014 and we managed to raise R18651,30.

A big thank you must go to GL events Oasys, Lodge Events, Be Bold and our team from FESPA and Practical Publishing for participating and generously donating R10000 to Knights of Pendragon Rotary club and R8151,30 towards a year-end party we are arranging for children at the Siyakhula Orphanage in Orange Farm.

Meggan McCarthy from Africa Print handed over R500 as well as t-shirts donated by Biscana to Shallon Mpisane and Tania Rhode from Printing SA. The money was collected by t-shirt printing guru Charlie Taublieb during his t-shirt printing sessions at the FESPA Africa and Africa Print Expo.
