RISO Africa will exhibit the ComColor 9150 with Perfect Binder and the ComColor 3150 with NCR feed capability at the Africa Print Regional Expo, taking place in Polokwane on 14 May at Meropa Casino.
ComColor offers the world’s fastest full color simplex office printer speed, at 150 ppm. ComColor’s unparalleled speed enables handling of high-volume print jobs faster, drastically reducing necessary work hours. Maximum full colour duplex print speed is 75 ppm (150 pages). Precise paper path controllers make duplex printing jobs as quick as simplex, further increasing the productivity of print work.
Four wide in-line inkjet heads arranged in parallel allow very speedy full colour printing of A3/ledger-size paper at a single pass. Eight-step control per ink drop per colour dot ensures excellent results with fine tonal gradations.To suit the ultra high-speed duplex printing capabilities of the ComColor, RISO developed special fast-drying, fade-resistant, water-resistant oil-based inks that prevent set-off and paper curl.
The ComColor 3150 will be fitted with an NCR feeding and delivery kit that allows easy printing of carbonless forms. The ComColor 9150 with Perfect Binder can print and perfect bind a 600 page book in less than 6 minutes and is ideal for short or long runs of books, manuals, reports, etc.
