Digital Printing Conference 2017 Programme Announced

IMI Europe's flagship strategic industry conference event is intended for those wishing to understand the direction of the industry over the coming years, with a theme of 'Vision 2020'.
 
The conference programme has been planned with input from the conference Strategic Advisory Board, comprising Martin Schoeppler, president & CEO, Fujifilm Dimatix, John Law, managing director advanced materials, Sun Chemical, Marco Boer, vice president, IT strategies, Paul Morgavi, chief technology officer ink jet and novel printing, Xerox and Mike Willis, chairman, IMI Europe & managing director, Pivotal Resources. The invited presentation programme includes:

• Market updates from leading analysts IT Strategies, Keypoint Intelligence – Infotrends and IDTechEx.
• Updates and views from industry pacesetters Landa Digital, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, Sun Chemical, Domino Printing Sciences, SPG Prints, Xaar and Xerox.
• Perspectives from key end users like Impress.
• New technology introductions from inkjet innovators PadaLuma, Philips, Archipelago Technology and Mouvent.

Mergers And Acquisitions Forum
19 September 2017
A new event for 2017 covers mergers and acquisitions from both the buy side and sell side. Leading analysts and experts will give an overview of the industry M&A scene, review key transactions as case studies, and give advice and experiences from both sides of the transaction. The event will be chaired by Kenneth D. Stack, president of Proximus LLC, with a panel session promising lively debate.

Inkjet Academy – Business Edition
18-19 September 2017
This year’s event premieres a new version of the Inkjet Academy, aimed at people wishing to understand the essential aspects of the technology, industry and applications. The event is delivered by Dr Alan Hudd of Alchemie Technology and Mike Willis of Pivotal Resources, the founders of the Inkjet Academy, who have been presenting versions of the course since 1998.

18-19 September 2017
Leading analysts and experts will present modules covering key inkjet applications including digital textile printing from World Textile Information Network and packaging printing from Keypoint Intelligence – Infotrends.

The event will be held at the Novotel Barcelona City Hotel, Barcelona, Spain from 20-21 September 2017, with supporting events on 18-19 September including a Mergers & Acquisitions forum, Market Reports Live sessions and a new version of the Inkjet Academy.
